The shock absorbers are some of the most important components of the suspension system in a vehicle. The shock absorbers are alternatively called dampers since they dampen the effects of spring travels on the vehicles. They minimize the impact that the car experiences from the road, which makes it easier to handle the car in general.
A clutch is necessary to avoid runaway cars. The clutch is like a stop gap from the engine to the wheels. With out the clutch the car simply will not move. The clutch is always engaged in all manual transmission cars as it connects the engine to the transmission. The same friction that makes it work to stop a vehicle is what destroys it.
