Mercedes

The automaker Mercedes-Benz said that it is going to recall 2,297 vehicles using diesel because of some leakage in the cars’ fuel systems.

The diesel-powered automobiles that the company expects to recall include 2011 models of E-class, M-class, GL-class, and R-class vehicles.

A fault in the fuel-filter O-ring results in the leakage of fuel. The fault may be as a result of poor lubrication. The leakage does not only cause problems in the affected vehicles but also make the parts of the road where the fuel spills on to get slick.

People whose cars are affected are encouraged to take them to a dealership so that the fuel filters can be replaced at no cost.
